Job Duties
• Prepare and lay bricks, concrete blocks, structural tiles or other masonry units
• Lay bricks, stone or similar materials to provide veneer facing
• Construct and install prefabricated masonry units
• Build patios, garden walls and other decorative installations
• Face, size, cut and lay stones
• Place steel reinforcing and grout in cavities or cores to build external walls
• Lay conventional or tongue and groove blocks without mortar to build walls or foundation walls
• Waterproof masonry
• Install glass blocks
• Install pre-cast hollow core floor slabs
• Remove and replace existing masonry work for alterations or restorations
• Assemble, erect and dismantle scaffolding, rigging and hoisting equipment
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings and specifications

Requirements
– Education: Completion of high school
– Experience: At least 3 years of experience in the field or a post-secondary certificate is required.
-Weight Handling: Up to 55 kg (120 lbs)

Salary: $29.00 to $33.00 Hourly, 40.00 Hours per week

Other:
-Work location is mainly in and around the Oliver and Okanagan Valley BC depending on clients and projects. Schedule of work: Monday to Friday with minimum of 8 hrs of work per day 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM
-Our company is dedicated to roofing and exteriors (stone work)
